It embraced intangible abstractions such as the number 10, tangible, spiritually dense substances such as igneous rock, the intelligent behaviour demonstrated by sub-mundane atoms, or the intelligent spiritual reach of an individual's beneficial, noble endeavour. The ancient philosophers believed also that the nature - the energy flow - of the universe was spiritual and moral.
For them the universe was not only intelligent, flexible and responsive to thought and feeling, but was also creatively evolving toward a spiritual and moral potency. They believed these bodies each radiated either harmonious, discordant or neutral energies.
Note. The term neutral used here means convertible. The three neutral planets (Sun, Mercury and Uranus) take on the harmonious or discordant qualities of their astrological relationships. |
