Indeed, even an amoeba has a soul. If it had no soul, it could not move over, ingest and assimilate its prey, the bacteria. The difference between amoeba and human lies in complexity - degree of development - rather than of kind. Wherever one finds intelligence, there you will find a soul, for the manifestation of states of consciousness, whether they be many or few, make up the soul.
Each soul is a spark of the Supreme Intelligence, Deity - the Divine Mind. And once radiated from the Divine Mind, the scintillating sparks of potentiality, numerous as photons of light, collecting experiences and developing souls, never come to rest, never cease their endeavours. Behind the lowly soul of a single-celled amoeba, behind the soul of every living cell of the human body, lies the Divine spark. ever propelling the ceaseless surge of life forward.
"Life has its parallels with light. The number of individual entities is beyond calculation, or comprehension. But once a little photon of it is radiated from the Infinite Mind, it travels on and on, without loss of momentum, in the direction it is sent. |
