Each of the Twenty-One Brotherhood of Light Books bringing forward into contemporary life the traditional teachings of the Hermetic Spiritual Knowledge System, stresses again and again the power of thought and feeling to affect every manner of life circumstance and condition.

Though we apply to our lives the most advanced psychological techniques, but fail to recognize the nature of astrological energies and our power to act in the face of them, we lack the means to either mitigate, or take advantage of their influence.

Powerless at our present state of knowledge to change either the faster-than-light, high-velocity energies of the astrological inner-plane weather, or the slower-than-light, low-velocity physical outer-plane weather, we can with limited foreknowledge, already protect ourselves against some of the ravages of outer-plane storms and other disasters.

We cannot yet change the course and fury of wars, but armed with foreknowledge, we will be able to take steps to employ effective policing in turbulent regions.
