After shedding its physical form at death - its character and personality surviving the tomb - each individual soul has the potential to continue its progressive evolution up through the many astral and increasingly potent inner planes to the celestial realm.

The astral body of any life-form is a thought-built body, states of awareness being the only food that can be assimilated by the four-dimensional form.

Using the word 'thought' in its more general significance to include any feeling, or state of awareness, in this way each experience builds thought-elements into the astral body."
